Last fall, I became an aunt for the first time…twice! I love showering my new niece and nephew with books:

My sister Leslie’s daughter Clara "Biscuit" reading with Daddy

My sister Jaime’s son Charlie "Bucket" “reading” Little Rabbit Lost
|
Little Rabbit Lost Written and Illustrated by Harry Horse

While You Were Sleeping Written and Illustrated by John Butler
A cozy bedtime tale all about the animals that stir while we slumber! Young readers can count the animals in snowy fields, tall oak trees, oceans and grasslands from the comfort of their own bed and dream of all that lies beyond the window while they are sleeping.

Can You Cuddle Like a Koala? Written and Illustrated by John Butler
Butler's interactive bedtime story about how animals move will captivate young audiences with its simple text and vibrant images. By the time you ask if they can "hug like a bear with all your might" and "curl up like a squirrel getting ready for the night," young ones will be ready to sleep like a child with their eyes closed tight!
To win a pack of these three adorable board books, leave a comment here or send a tweet to @peachtreepub and tell me how you plan to/how you celebrated Mothers' Day this year! I’ll pick two winners at random and contact them at the end of the drawing.
Watch for NEW board books to be published soon by Peachtree!

Would LOVE to win one of these! I, too, have nieces that I would very much like to give one of these to. Thanks for the chance! Pam N.
I've already had part of my mother's day. I took the day off of work yesterday and went to the zoo with my son. He usually goes with his dad while I'm working. He proudly showed me all of his favorite animals. (he's three) We had a fantastic time.
I think the weekend is going to consist of some kitchen fun (making breakfast) and some outdoor time. I am looking forward to it.

I got a Mother's Day card from my stepdaughter which always makes me feel loved and special. I mailed my Mom a silly one I know will make her laugh. It was a quiet sweet weekend.
